My order from steelmadeusa showed up in great shape. The box was packed solid, nothing was rattling around, and the corners were protected really well. I remember there was this one random little piece of cardboard tucked in so perfectly on the side that I actually noticed it while unpacking. No dents or scratches anywhere when I opened it up, so I’m happy with how carefully they packed everything.

Ended up buying from Steelmade USA after looking around for a bit. Comparing prices, reading a few things, going back and forth. You know how that goes. For what I paid, I’m happy with it. It feels solid, not cheap or flimsy, and it does what it’s supposed to do. Shipping was alright. Not super quick, but not painfully slow either. Packaging was fine, no issues there. I’d probably give it 5 stars if the price felt a little easier to swallow, but compared to some of the other options I saw, it still seems like a good value overall.

I originally got my Steelmade griddle for weekend breakfasts, but the grease cleanup alone has me acting like I discovered fire. Before, I’d somehow end up with random little grease puddles all over the stove and it drove me insane. With this, the grease management actually works really well, and cleanup takes just a few minutes. I’m probably way too excited about something this simple, but I’m seriously happy with it.

I really wanted to like this, and I kept trying to make it work because it seemed like it should be great. But cooking on it has been hit or miss. Some areas get way hotter than others, so one pancake is browning too fast while another is just kind of sitting there, and then I’m standing there wondering if I should move everything around like a little puzzle. Food also sticks more than I expected. It’s fine for stuff like bacon or pancakes, but for the price, I just expected it to be a lot better

I bought a flat top from Steelmade about a year ago and we use it often, mostly on weekends or for quick dinners during the week. It’s heavy, still sits perfectly flat, and I haven’t noticed any warping or loose spots. I’m not that gentle with it either, I scrape it, oil it, and put it away. It’s got that worn-in look now, but in a good way, and it still cooks evenly. If they ever start cutting corners on quality, I’d probably look elsewhere, but this one has been great so far and feels like it’ll last forever.

I got the Steelmade griddle seasoning it wasn’t too bad. It’s not hard, but you do need a little patience with it. The first coat looked kind of patchy, which made me think I might’ve messed it up, but after a few more rounds it started to darken and look really good. Overall, I’m happy with it and it feels like a quality product. I’d probably give it 5 stars if the instructions had a bit more detail, because the griddle itself is solid.

As someone who loves making a proper breakfast, this has been such a win. The surface is big enough that I can cook everything at the same time instead of juggling things in batches

I picked up a few accessories with my Steelmade setup, it’s been a mixed bag. The cleaning tool and oil bottle are the ones I actually reach for most after cooking, and the cover is nice for keeping everything from looking messy when I’m not using it.
Some of the other pieces felt a little more optional, though. I probably could’ve gotten by with stuff I already had at home. The quality isn’t bad or anything, it just didn’t all feel totally necessary for the price. Overall, useful, but next time I’d probably just stick with the basics.

I had a small issue and they got it sorted out really fast with no hassle. customer service everywhere is usually a headache, so it was nice to deal with people who just handled it and made the whole thing easy...

My order was correct and everything went smoothly, so I can’t really complain. At the same time, it wasn’t anything that stood out to me either. Overall, a fine experience with no issues.

I was happy with how clear the tracking was. I always knew where my order was, which made the whole wait feel a lot less stressful.

I bought this mostly to keep my stovetop from getting scratched up or covered in spills, and to be fair, it does that job well. It feels sturdy enough, so I’m not nervous about setting things on it when I need extra space.

The fit wasn’t quite perfect on my stove, though. It shifts a little if I bump it, which gets annoying fast. I also had to wait in a long queue when I went to pick it up, so by the time I got home and noticed the fit wasn’t ideal, I was already a bit irritated.

For the price, I expected it to feel a bit more polished. It’s still useful and I’ll keep using it, but it’s not one of those purchases I’m excited to recommend to everyone.

I got the Steelmade flat top mostly because I was trying really hard not to add yet another bulky thing to my kitchen, because somehow the cabinets are already full even though I swear I don’t own that much stuff. But yeah, this has been really easy to slide away once I’m done cooking, which is a bigger deal than I expected.
It fits right in the cabinet next to my cutting boards, and I remember thinking, oh nice, that actually works. It’s not the most exciting thing to rave about, I guess, but in a small kitchen, being able to store something without rearranging your whole life really matters.

Ordered from steelmadeusa.com and overall it was okay, but not exactly super smooth. Took a little while to find the info I was looking for, and checkout felt kind of slow in a few spots. Order did go through fine and got the confirmation emails, so no real problem there. Just felt like the buying process could’ve been easier.

It worked fine with my setup, no real issues to report. Installation/use was straightforward, and everything functioned as expected. Overall, a solid experience

It feels solid and it does cook the food well, so no complaints there. But wow, it puts out way more smoke than I thought it would. Even with the fan running, it’s set off my smoke alarm a couple times. Could just be how I have it set up, but for indoor cooking it’s kind of a pain

It’s hard to clean, which gets annoying fast. Of course, I usually notice the mess right when I’m in a hurry or need to use it again, so the timing is always terrible. Just more hassle than I expected
